ABOUT US
Troop 31 was founded in 1941.  We meet every Monday night at Old Zionsville U.C.C from 7:00PM-8:30PM.  We have about 8 scouts and about 10 adult leaders.  In our 75 year history we have 95 Eagle Scouts.  Our troop has many annual activities such as; summer camp at Trexler Scout Reservation, winter camp, Klondike derbies, A.T hikes, collecting food at the Wheels of Time, and our new annual survival competition.

Our goal is to teach boys ages 11 to 18 important life skills.  In order to advance, scouts must hold a leadership position within the troop.  These positions require the Jr. Leaders to set an example and lead the younger scouts within the troop.  We also teach the boys strong moral values which are in the Scout Oath and Law.  The boys also learn key outdoor skills such as how to use a map and compass, low impact camping and hiking, canoeing, pioneering, knot tying, first aid skills, and much more.
